Hwy 115 Bridge to Hwy 384 Takeout
Wildwood Outfitters’ Section III trip starts at the Duncan Bridge Outpost. You are shuttled up to the Hwy 115 bridge. This is called the whitewater section of the Chattahoochee. Over the years, thousands of whitewater paddlers got their start on this section of the river – its a work out but lots of fun! You will also see wildlife and beautiful scenery.
Even though this section is a bit more advanced than the others, it is still great for all levels of paddlers. Minimum Age is 5 years.

Hwy 384 Bridge to Mossy Creek
Our Section IV trip starts at the Duncan Bridge Outpost. This section of the Chattahoochee River is less challenging than Section 3, but contains several smaller shoal ledges. It has the largest volume of water with a dozen Class I rapids so it can be paddled when other sections are too low. It is 5 miles (2.5 hours) to Mossy Creek. Inflatable kayaks provide the most stability on this trip. Sit on Top Torrent Kayaks are also available for more speed and maneuverability.
Good for all levels of paddlers. Minimum Age is 5 years.

Mossy Creek State Park to Belton Bridge
You will be shuttled from our outpost to the Mossy Creek put in. This is a beautiful section of the Chattahoochee River. It winds through Hall County with calm waters and mountain laurel. We will pick you up at Belton Bridge and bring you back to the outpost.
We offer sit on top kayaks and canoe trips on this 5 mile (2 – 2.5 hour) section.
This section is great for all levels of paddlers. Minimum Age is 5 years.

Sautee Creek to Hwy 255 Bridge (Section I)
Hwy 255 Bridge to Hwy 115 Bridge (Section II)
